India’s largest cab aggregator Ola has partnered with Bharti Airtel to launch a range of integrated digital offerings to customers.As part of the partnership, Ola will integrate Airtel Payments bank to its app and Airtel will integrate Ola’s mobile wallet Ola Money as a payment solution on Airtel website and My Airtel app for mobile recharges and bill payments.As per the deal, customers will be able to book an Ola ride at kiosks installed at Airtel retail stores. Riders will also be able to recharge their Airtel prepaid numbers while on their trip using this integrated service. Moreover, Ola driver partners will now have Airtel 4G as their network provider on all Ola devices, including Ola Play.Similarly, Ola Money (Ola’s mobile wallet) will be integrated as a digital payment solution within MyAirtel App and Airtel’s website to enable recharge/bill payment of Airtel prepaid mobile/DTH connections.Besides, Airtel retail points will assist customers looking to book an Ola ride through kiosks at these locations. The telecom major will also facilitate migration of Ola devices to Airtel’s 4G network.The partnership will also have Airtel and Ola build content solutions for customers of Ola Play, the cab aggregator’s in-car entertainment system.Airtel’s suite of entertainment offerings will be available on Ola Play in the form of exclusive content for Ola customers.
