Executive Engineer: BE / B. Tech / Equivalent Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Mechanical Engineering + Post Qualification experience of minimum 12 years.
Dy. Chief Engineer (Rolling Stock): BE/ B. Tech / Equivalent Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering + Post Qualification experience of minimum 8 years.
Executive Engineer (Rolling Stock): BE/ B. Tech / Equivalent Engineering Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronic/ Civil with any combination. Additional Qualification in Law shall be preferred Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering + Post Qualification experience of minimum 8 years.
Asst. Executive Engineer (Rolling Stock): Engineering Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronic/ Civil with any combination Additional Qualification in Law shall be preferred + Post qualification experience of minimum 15 years.
Addnl. Chief Engineer (Contracts – System): Engineering Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic / Civil with any combination. Additional Qualification in Law shall be preferred + Post qualification experience of minimum 12 years.
Dy. Chief Engineer (Contracts – System): Engineering Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic / Civil with any combination. Additional Qualification in Law shall be preferred + Post qualification experience of minimum 8 years.

Age Limit-The maximum age limit for the post of Additional Chief Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer is 55 years, Executive Engineer is 50 years, Asst. Executive Engineer is 40 years and for Assistant Engineer it is 35 years. Age relaxation should be applicable as per rule and regulation of Government.
