Clinics charging Rs.1 come up at 14 railway stations in Mumbai

The Central Railway in collaboration with a private organisation has established 24X7 ‘One Rupee Clinics’ at 14 different stations in Mumbai, Maharashtra, that will charge Rs.1 to provide medical services. The clinics have been set up after the Bombay High Court ordered the Railways to do so citing lack of prompt medical help in case of accidents on railway tracks.
