Haryana’s Ballabhgarh renamed as Balramgarh

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced that Ballabhgarh would now be known as Balramgarh. He also announced a number of projects for the development of Ballabhgarh and NIT Faridabad Assembly constituencies. Ballabgarh is a town and a sub-division in Haryana the princely State was founded by Balram Singh in 1739. Ballabgarh means ‘the fort of Balram’. In 2016, Manohar Lal Khattar renamed Gurgaon as Gurugram based on the history connection of the Guru with Guru Dronacharya.Read more at Indian Express.com.
