Indian government has launched the Android app for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Movement) in National Museum on 23 May,2017 informed the ministry of culture in an official statement.The ‘Swachh Bharat App’ has been launched by the Minister of State for Culture & Tourism Mahesh Sharma.The main focus of this ‘Swachh Bharat App’ is to involve people actively to become part of the clean India movement The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store. In this app, the concept of physical web is implemented. When you are in the monument or Museum it will deliver you the message about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and ask you to report the garbage around you. All you need is to enable the Bluetooth of your mobile device. Even if you did not have the App installed then also you can deliver the message by Google about the Swachh Bharat Abiyan, which will give you the link to install the app.Once you start the app it will ask to take photograph of the garbage and write the comment and submit. It will be reported to the authority on the backend. Sharma also said the 24-hour multi- language information service ‘Infoline’ launched by his ministry early this month has received a good response, getting an average of 11,800 calls per day.The toll-free Infoline service, available in 12 languages including English and Hindi, provides information relating to travel and tourism in India to domestic and international tourists/visitors. It also assists the callers with advice on action to be taken during times of distress while travelling in the country and if need be alert the concerned authorities.
